“Le Chalet” is a character country house set in nearly a hectare of parkland. There is an orangery and a barbecue house in the garden together with a swimming pool which requires a replacement liner. The village has its own Post Office/Bank, Bar/Café and Boulangerie/Store together with a newly modernised primary school. It is set alongside the Garonne River, with a public picnic area, a camping site and a stadium with tennis courts etc. St Sardos is about 6km away, has a lake and is a well known wine growing area.

The local markets are vibrant places with the farmers and producers exhibiting their wares weekly. Toulouse with its international airport is around 30 minutes drive away, Montech with the Canal du midi and its Pente D’eau is 10 minutes, and Montauban with its train station is 20 mins away with connections to Paris, Bordeaux etc. The house would benefit from some modernisation and so has been priced accordingly. However once finished could become a real jewel with lots of original features and full of character – rare these days!
