We live in the other South of France, SW Gascony, which has similar weather sometimes better!

Our farmhouse built in 1700s has been completely refurbished and is now a comfortable family house.

Lovingly renovated over the last 10 years we are sad to sell but unexpectedly increasing poor health tells us it is the right thing to do.

We offer a small “fermette”, a 6 bed, 4 bath main house with an adjoining self contained studio apartment with own kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower.

We are fully double glazed and centrally heated but also have wood burners in kitchen and lounge, outside walls and loft also insulated so very cosy in the winter.The exterior has been completely re rendered and the barn re roofed , the rest of the property re roofed only 25 years ago!

We also offer a large heated pool , 12.5 m X 5 m with Roman steps so safe for little ones to play, 1.5 hectares of paddock and garden and stunning views on the Pyrennees and the surrounding countryside.

We are equidistant to Toulouse and Tarbes ( nr Lourdes) about an hour and 45 mins to Auch.
The Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts are both 1.5-2 hrs away.

The nearest ski stations are around an hour South into Spain. We are not far off good motor routes but nestle quietly in the hills in a small village population of 40.
Here we have a mixture of French, Dutch, Portuguese and two part time English couples, we are the only Permanent English residents. We also have a fabulous Mayor who is very interactive within the village and “très gentil” he has become a good friend in the time we have  been here.

5 miles from the town of Boulogne sur Gesse which has all the amenities you might need ie; Doctors, Dentists, Lawyers, Insurance agents, Super markets, Chemist, Florist, Vet, Butcher, Bakers, Hairdressers, Garages and clothing shops.
