House in a lovely village in Felletin in the Creuse
Enter by the front door into a hallway with the stairs on your left and double doors in front of you leading into the lounge/diner.
In here are windows front and back and double glazed french doors leading onto the garden, also a large fireplace which houses the wood burner and door to a dry wine cellar complete with large iron wine rack.
To the left is a doorway leading into the kitchen and utility room with a separate toilet. The kitchen leads into the conservatory by way of double glazed french doors with access to the garden and garage. Steps in the conservatory lead to the boiler room and then onto the huge double garage with wooden staircase leading to the attic. Garage doors slide all the way open, so very easy access and a side door so another way into the house, through the conservatory and into the kitchen.
Upstairs in the house are 3 double bedrooms varying in size from large with a huge fitted wardrobe, medium and small, with a large shower room and toilet also on this floor. In the large room is a door with stairs leading to the attic which is the full length of the house and already boarded out.
The downstairs utility room was a bathroom and could be changed back into this if needed for say someone with mobility problems. Both the attic and garage or upstairs of garage could be made into bedrooms, bathrooms with the proper planning permission.
Outside in the garden is an attached brick built shed with well and pump. The garden is lawn one side and patio and cobbles the other. At the end of the garden is a mirabeille tree and raspberry canes which have always given a good yield. There is a lovely view from the garden and the lounge of the countryside.
Radiators in every room served by a natural gas boiler. In the summer hot water either by gas or electric ballon.
Felletin is a lovely picturesque village with all the shops for day to day living.
Intermarche supermarket on the outskirts of town and a Carrefour Express in the village square and two banks with two Pharmacies at either end of the Grand Rue.
Also doctors and nurses and I can really recommend my doctor and his receptionist, nothing is too much trouble for them, they will help you all they can.
About 4 bread shops, 2 butchers along with various other little shops, a hotel, cafes, tabacs and a newspaper/book shop. Also little gift shops, wool shop, clock/watch shop, antique shops and a charity shop which is really worth a visit and a little out of town they also have a hangar which sells furniture.
For larger Carrefour and Intermarche supermarkets then Aubusson is just 10/15 minutes away, which is the tapestry making town, with guided tours and museum.
La Poste and the Mairie is a short walk from the village square.
For bigger shops like DIY, furniture, supermarkets and clothes Gueret is about 50 minutes away and Limoges just under 2 hours. Also Ussel in the Correze is about 50 minutes away with all the big shops.
Just under 2hrs to Limoges airport
