Villas de Leypinas consists of the main house with four bedrooms and three guest gîtes, with beautiful landscaped gardens, fruit trees and a 12m x 5m salt water swimming pool; a total of 1 hectare (approx. 2.5 acres). We currently run a very successful business renting the gîtes as self-catering accommodation and 3 of the house bedrooms as ‘bed and breakfast’ rooms.
The house has been designed to be comfortable, practical and economical! Many of the original features, such as the stunning stone/wood fireplace and the beautifully crafted staircase, have been incorporated within a modern, functional living area. The access to the house is through the barn, which was originally home to the farm’s cows, and across the washed concrete courtyard. The barn has a games room, workshop and storage area at ground level with an undeveloped second level leading to a raised sun terrace offering panoramic views of the Corrézien countryside.
Downstairs there is a large, open plan living area on two levels with the 14kw wood burner providing a wonderful focal point. There is also an office and toilet. The 28m² modern kitchen sits in what was the adjacent barn, the room still has plenty of character with various oak windows and the stone well now showcased in the floor. Leading out from the kitchen is a second entrance to the house, through large patio doors to the patio, there is also access to the spacious utility room and the raised 32m² gym area. A separate, external door leads to a storage area and wine cellar.
Upstairs there are four double bedrooms; the first has an en-suite shower room; the second has a large bathroom with double sink, bath and large shower with access to the third bedroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. All the bedrooms have the original timber frames on show, each has been lovingly restored then finished with a soft wax; there are new oak floors throughout.

Our gîtes are housed in the old pigsty, La Petite Porcherie and La Grande Porcherie, and the bread oven, Le Four a Pain.
All three gîtes have been converted and restored to offer a high standard of self-catering accommodation complete with modern facilities and original charm. The oak beams which form the heart of our gîtes have been lovingly restored and give each room a unique character; each gîte has a private terrace overlooking the pool, gardens and countryside.

2x gîtes have one, large double bedroom with en suite shower room.
La Grande Porcherie has two large double bedrooms.
Oil fired boiler provides heating to all three gîtes.
Access is through a separate gated entrance.

The barn, 160m2, has a games room, toilet, workshop and storage area at ground level with an undeveloped second level leading to a raised sun terrace offering panoramic views of the Corrézien countryside.

We are one of four properties in the small hamlet of Leypinas, surrounded by the wonderful countryside of the Correze, a department of the south west region of Nouvelle Aquitaine. Perfectly located for couples and families on holiday, away from the busy tourist towns but close enough to visit the cultural, historic and sporting sites in the region.
Our commune of Saint Pardoux Corbier is very dynamic for such a small place. There are great, weekly summer markets with stalls selling local produce (Limousine beef/meat/sausages, bread, trout, vegetables, salad, wine, jam/honey, fruit etc.) which can be purchased and eaten at the long tables provided. Large barbecues are available for everyone to use so you can cook your steak just how you like it! There is also a bar selling reasonably priced drinks, a crêperie and a place to buy hot chips to go with your steak. A variety of local bands provide live music! Out of season there are regular events held in the modern hall next to the fishing lake in the village itself.
Within 8km there are two towns, Lubersac and Pompadour, which have supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The historical and natural highlights of the Correze and Dordogne are all within an hours drive.
We are only 10 minutes from the north/south A20 motorway and less than an hour from Brive and Limoges airports both of which have numerous flights to the UK. Calais is an easy 7 hour drive north while Barcelona is only 5.5 hours south.
