Holiday Gite Papillon accommodation comprises of an open plan living/dining room with kitchen at one end, large double bedroom and shower room with shower cubicle, hand washbasin and WC.

All windows overlook gardens and pool area and are fitted with screens.

The lounge/diner has comfortable seating including a double sofa bed. Satellite TV, CD player and DVD player are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with crockery and cutlery for 4 people, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, gas cooker, microwave oven and fridge.

Gite Wisteria

Holiday Gite Wisteria accommodation comprises of a large open plan lounge/dining room with a large Villiger wood burning stove. Four sets of french windows, the entrances to the original horse stalls, overlook the outside seating area and swimming pool.

The lounge/dining area is furnished with comfortable seating and dining suite. Satellite TV, CD player and DVD player are provided, as well as many boxed games, jigsaws and a bookcase of books.

The end kitchen comprises a gas hob with electric oven, microwave oven and fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and crockery/ cutlery for 6 people.

Open plan stairs from lounge/dining area lead to the galleried balcony and bedrooms – one double and one twin – both with space for an extra bed/cot. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with shower cubicle, washbasin and WC. All first floor windows are fitted with permanent screens, and all but one have manual shutters.

Throughout the gite the original beams are in evidence, particularly in both bedrooms and the galleried landing.

Grounds and Gardens

The property has a large private drive, turning circle and parking for numerous cars.

There are swings and a slide for smaller children. Adult bikes are available for use.

There is a large child friendly playing field for ball games, badminton, boules etc. There is also a children’s swings with chute, and a trampoline.

The pool has a safety fence surrounding it to comply with French pool safety regulations. Each gite has its own entrance gate to the pool. Sun loungers and parasols are provided within the pool area. The pool is maintained daily by the owners and is open from 1st May – 30th September.

Each gite has its own garden with seating and stone built BBQ.

Beyond the playing field there is a larger field (2.25 acres) which also belongs to the property. At the moment it provides grazing for two donkeys which can be bought, if wanted, in a separate transaction.
